From 1988 to 1991 he was a founder and a member of informal art group Močvara /The Swamp/ Baranja.
In 1998 he  graduated painting at  the Academy of Fine Arts, Zagreb. He was  a member of Artistic bord of the Baranja Art Collony  /BUK/  2004/2010
He has been  an Art director and a member of Artistic group PLEH  since 2007.
He lives and works in Zagreb as an independent artist.

The main intention of Zoran Pavelić’s artwork is to gauge the social and political weight (or lightness) of an artist, art and art institutions. He is interested in the impact and the correlation of various media, geo-political and other factors, on the position of an artist and art in the society. Actions, interventions, performances or site specific works in public spaces most often question the communication with the artistic and cultural layers of  heritage; they also inquire the nature of the artistic phenomenon/personalities/institutions, in the relation between  big and small centers, the center and the periphery.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
